Born in Empordà in 1989, grandson of a musician from Cobla, he has the first contact with the drummer at age 14 with maestro Toni Gadea at the School of Music of Palafrugell. Later on, it is the pianist Lluis Escuadra who introduces him into the world of jazz. It is at this moment where Jordi discovers an exciting world. In 2010 he moved to Barcelona to study at Taller de Músics. He will be in this center where he obtains the title of Higher Degree in Interpretation of jazz and modern music. In 2016, he agreed to take "Barcelona Jazz Màster" at the Esmuc (Superior School of Music of Catalonia), which ends in the summer of 2018 with the recording of his compositions by musicando poems by Màrius Torres.

 

He currently combines pedagogy (at the Conservatorio l'Energia de Palafrugell and at the Adrià Sardó de Calonge Music School) with professional stage activities (mainly jazz and funk & blues music groups).
