Quartet Minvant is a jazz group from Empordà that investigates the connections between classical music and jazz. Reinterpreting classic melodies as a standard and fusing the aesthetics of one era and another to create their own sound. The group follows the current of the Third Stream which has as its flagship album Sketches Of Spain by Miles Davis. The group is currently working on the works of Isaac Albéniz and Enrique Granados, through the "Viaje Ibérico" concert, where works from the Spanish Suite and the Spanish Dances by the different composers are reinterpreted respectively, and also works by the pianist Chick Corea, who he was a great lover of Spanish music and flamenco. In 2019, the group was selected at national level by Juventudes Musicales Españolas in the MusaE project through which they participated in a concert circuit for different state museums in the country. Quartet Minvant has performed at the Costa Brava Jazz Festival and the Tortosa Jazz Festival and in different Auditoriums and renowned venues such as Café Berlin (Madrid), La Sala Clamores (Madrid), Teatro Juan Bravo (Segovia), L'Auditori Josep Viader de Girona or the Auditori Caputxins (Figueres), with the project "Quartet minvant plays Isaac Albéniz & Chick Corea". The members of this quartet are Guillem Payaró on flute, Angel Bahí on piano, Guillem Soler on bass and Jordi Morell on drums.
